      Responsible for installation and service of all makes of marine electronics on customer’s boats.  Experience at the sales level.  Received formal training from various electronics manufacturers on their products.

          Marine electrical installations and troubleshooting on customer’s boats.  Assemble and install custom electrical panels.

       Captain, Bristol 51 Sailboat.  7/99-9/00. 

          Based New England in summer, Bahamas in winter.  Manage and run all aspects of privately owned, 33-ton yacht, including deliveries and routine maintenance.

        Manager, Head of Maintenance, Instructor.  Boston Sailing Center, Boston, MA.  6/97-7/99. 

      Integral staff member at large, year-round, adult-oriented sailing school.  Oversee day-to-day work of instructional and office staff.  Liaison between membership, students, and staff.  Oversee upkeep of 50+ sailboats and 3 powerboats as well as Center’s physical plant and marina.  Responsible for acquiring appropriate materials for all repairs.  Teach all levels of sailing from Basic to Ocean Passage Making, including navigation, cruising and racing skills on various 24-40 ft. sailboats.  Instructor for offshore classes between Boston and Antigua, via Bermuda.

          Hired, coordinated and supervised up to 20 staff for three summer programs at yacht club.  Designed junior sailing program curriculum for ~250 children.  Organized and ran sailboat race management program for seven fleets of boats.  Functioned as liaison between club members, staff, and Executive Committee.

        Head Sailing Instructor.   Northeast Harbor Fleet, Northeast Harbor, ME.  6/92-9/92, 6/93-9/93.

          Organized instructors and taught children all aspects of sailing at large yacht club.
